It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    Well done Linda, looking good!

Sal, Stu losing his job was one of the many final nails in the coffin that was our marriage. I was heavily pregnant, up to my eyeballs in getting a diagnosis for Ryan, grieving my Gran, running the home, decorating AND having to look for jobs for him, write CVs, fill in application forms, post them, and organise getting him to interviews dressed suitably, because he had just given up.

He has absolutely no idea what he put me through in the months before and after Natasha was born, and when I said, during an argument the other day, that it had put a huge strain on our relationship, he refused to acknowledge it and said it was because you lot had encouraged me to sleep around and have affairs....

Been looking at the M&S cards, keep finding ones where I like the card but not the message inside.. too soppy :o

    Nice curtains Linda!

Does anyone know anything about migraines? I think I had one last night, I emailed my sister who gets them regularly but she said it didn't sound like hers did. Don't know what else it could have been though.

Elfen, what Shakespeare books do you need? I bought a couple for a course I'm not going to do now, you're welcome to them. I've got Hamlet, Othello and Henry V. If you need any just pm me your address.

Got the wrong Shakespeare book, had to go back and get King Lear and Macbeth.....got another one as it was 3 for 2 and got Sense and Sensibility. Knowing my luck it won't come up now lol.

<debates on the merits of telling Elfen that Shakespear never wrote Sense & Sensibility....>

or am i missing a point here....

I keep thinking about the M&S cards, but I've not given cards for the last couple of years, I've followed sister's lead in saying that instead of spending a couple of quid on cards it's better to put the money towards a nicer present. Although, she doesn't get presents either. If I get cards this year it'll just set the precedent again!
