Morning all,

Got a knock at the door at just before 8 this morning, jumped out of bed, knocked over a glass which shattered into a squillion pieces to find a Fed-Ex man at the door with a Nintendo DSi!!! What a result. I'm not so bothered about the glass now, lol!

morning all
feeling a bit rubbish again today (dad's not really progressing very well) so need a pickmeup
won on Lush's twitter comp yesterday and bought myself an Xmas tree and put him up but that seems to have only been a shortterm cheerup.. don't get me wrong, Dad's responding to the chemo slightly but I'm actually not looking forward to going home and seeing him because he's still in hospital and getting nowhere fast - he can't walk anymore it seems so yeah, it's all stressing me out and had a bit of a cry to myself last night.. trying to stay positive and be amongst happy people

Awwwww Gemma hun, take it one day at a time...I hope dad gets better and this dark cloud clears...Like you said hun, try to stay positive and strong and try to distract yourself if you can , as hard as this may be..

I am pleased with 6 hours since all this week, I only managed 2-3 maximum. This cough is the worst I had ever, I feel embarrassed my neighbours must be fed up

The dr mentioned fluid round the lung :eek::eek::eek: which is making me feel :eek::eek: and I can feel it everytime I laugh, go to bed or cough....I missed my appointment yesterday but I have to book one next week..no appetite at all either but glad I don't feel lethargic anymore and the temp is in control so will see...

yeah, trying to keep busy - luckily I'm taking a photography course at the moment so got coursework on that but hey plus popping on here as much as possible helps
is anyone else a bit.. dissapointed with this years advents? I can get the ones I like done in 10 minutes tops..

Sounds Awful NNW, hope it clears for you soon.
Must be so uncomfortable. ( i had cough+chest infection etc for 6 months:eek: a while ago now,)
