Morning All!

Thought I'd pop in from my period of being anti-social to say Hello! It's truly foul out there, but rather than sit in I think I'm going to hit the gym and the treadmill for an hour or two (OK, an hour or so on the treadmill and an hour on the weights benches - lots of metal on my iPod to keep my motivated!)

I've also got the joys of the supermarket to do at some point of the day... Lovely!

Still the weather's so horrid it's not very motivational to do anything else! I seriously need to think about Christmas shopping though...

Huge congratulations to RCB - my Facebook account's on a temporary pause at the moment, but I can't wait to check in and see pics of the new arrival!

Two hours in the gym is pretty good going Melli - I can't get motivated to run round the block at the moment! Must get me a proper playlist on my iPhone for running, then I might do better.

I was going out running for an hour or so a couple of times a week in the summer - sometimes with a friend, sometimes on my own. It's much more interesting than in the gym (although I find I'm OK running on the treadmill if there's something on the telly to watch). I love being nosy and starting a run from the side of the 'Stray' gave me lots of things to look at. (The Stray is the main park in Harrogate, which is a few miles away from me but more interesting than the fields around home).

I'm going to log off now and make the effort!

Thanks Korky! I have now had two days without sickness and feeling like a new person! Fingers crossed this continues. I'm so far behind on comps it's not true, and it upsets me not posting or searching for them (not sure why, a bit sad really but I find it fun!)

DH is off sick waiting for an operation, so going to teach him to do the advent comps and hopefully I can start catching up on the main comps. Might manage it sometime in the new year at this rate

It did this to me a few times too. I go round it by typing free aol mail into google search and doing it that way it took a few goes but got there in the end. Good luck.
