Well I still haven't comped for weeks... but I have had a long soak in a hot bath, painted my toe and finger nails (clear - very dull but the only successful colour!), played outside with my bunnies in the wind and cold, cooked and eaten a yummy lamb chop and sweet potato roast thing, and done some tidying.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day - if you have something you are thankful for please take the time to thank whoever is responsible for it tomorrow, it will make their day xxx

I am sorry, I haven't read back.

My little girl, catrina, has been quite poorly, she has another water infection. Also, I've been quite down this weekend, as she has reg check ups due to her allergies, and they told me Friday that her Heart Murmur they found a few monthes ago was more audible, so she has a scan Dec 23 now. I know I am worrying over nothing but I just can't help it....

kinda feeling mega useless, as we had a scan date last month, and for some stupid reason I wrote the wrong day on the calendar,

don't feel very chatty atm, sorry all, xxx

Aw sorry to hear that Mamzie. Maybe her heart murmur was more audible if her immune system is weaker with having water infection? (Sorry, i'm probably not helping). Hope everything is ok with Catrina xx

I will keep my fingers crossed for Catrina Mamzi hpefully it is just that she isn't very well that is making it more audible than normal.

Looks like it will be another sleepless night for me due to family hassle over xmas arrangements sigh

Hi all, just joined the forums and started signing up for competitions.

I wondered, if I entered around 5+ competitions a day, am I looking at winning a few times a year or is even that hopeful?

I think most people do 50+ a day so the odds of winning are higher. But I only do between 20-40 a day, I only enter the ones I want to win etc.

On another note I posted this in the FAQ thread but don't think many people venture into there so....

I'm entering all these comps using my home number in the UK but I'm actually studying in Spain until July so what happens if (fingers crossed) I do win something and they try and phone me and either no one answers or mum says I'm not in? I'm guessing they wouldn't tell her that I had won something?
