Hi, I was just wondering if any of you avid compers make your whole living, or a large part of it from entering, and winning competitions? I remember watching a feature on TV a few years ago about a woman who did just this and this forum reminded me of it. I was just wondering how realistic that is, and if any of you had any good stories about yourselves or people you know that are 'professional compers' as it were?!

Hello all. Fed up today at my inability to manage to get any housework done even though I only have one child at home.

Hi Samannie :wave: and welcome to the forum. I can't say I make a living from comps but I managed to get thru last xmas from my wins when my DH got made redundant. He is still unemployed and in training so I am starting again with storing my wins away for xmas. HTH & good luck!

Hi all

Been a bit manic here so only just getting onto pc.

Just printed off some maths key stage 3 for my grandson to do so he's not behind when he gets into his new school. I will mark them for him then go through any he has got wrong.

The 3rd gs will be here about 4.45 and then I will need to do dinner for them.

Hope I get more time for the weekend so i can finally get up to date.

Hope Match is better for me as this months has been dismal. Just as well it's only a hobby to keep me occupied lol

Hugs to all who need them as it seems the dreaded lurgi is still hanging around and getting to the kids too by the sounds of it.

Hope they all feel better tomorrow. Sweetie I will cross my fingers that babe comes soon.

I got a bottle of sherry yayyyyy haven't had one for over a year but it will be a nice change from wine...:D
going to start the end-of-month competitions, then tidy up a bit and do my hair ..... before I get drowned in comps
