Morning all.

Hope little Woks is better today. My DD always manages to keep a temp after Calpol and I fret all night about her.

Prayer group for me this am then portage for my littlest. Not much time for comping, but I put the hours in yesterday! Has anyone tried hard to win one of the GMTV comps that you can enter as often as you like? I was just wondering how many entries a day I would need to do to give myself a chance, or whether I would need to be sat here all day everyday?

Hi i tried to win a laptop last month must of entered around 50 times a day i didnt win actually i wouldnt be suprised if they banned me for spamming them but i am still entering like mad for the cot at the minute

:eek:well little woks is up and getting redder and redder, role on the drs, got to wait till 9 to ring them, or might go to the hospital if he gets any worse. Temp 43 atm, crin dont think its mumps cos his neck and glands go down but it might be, I still think its something like glandular fever.
den where did ya get your coconuts from or is it from your farm or whatever peeps have on facebook;)
off to do a few dailies before we attempt ringing docs

Hi Wokkies, I would go down to a&e now to be honest. they say to take them if their temp goes higher than 40. Bless he must be feeling really poorly. Besides I went to a&e with DD on Sat and felt silly for not taking her earlier, I thought I was being overprotective, but they were more than happy to admit her. I had been to the doc the day before and seen a prescribing nurse, but really she should have sent me to hospital. Hope he gets better soon x

Little woks must be so fretful and that really is a high tedmp it should only be about 37 or so. Have you sponged him down with luke warm water and let him dry in the normal heat of the room? You probably have done that already. I think I would take him to the nearest a&e as high temps are very dangerous for anyone. Hope he feels a bit better soon.

I am sit here waiting for the cable man to show up. My son's internet has been playing up something chronic lately and the tv keeps freezing up.

Virgin is supposed to be quicker, more reliable and transfer larger amounts of data thank BT. Glad I stuck with BT as, touch wood, that has been fine except that my son keeps hijacking it toplay on his xbox.

Need to go to the supermarket after the guy has been as we have the kids this weekend. Not sure hw long they are stopping with it being half term.

Woks, have you tried giving Little Wok's Ibuprofen? The hospital normally give that before calpol/paracetamol nowadays, they say it's more effective. However, I think with a temp as high as that he should be taken to hospital or doctors asap.
Hope he's ok and you are too!!
