Hates snow! Thought we had seen all the snow for this winter, but no, it's snowing like bad here. Thank goddness it rained last night so it's not laying, but it's too cold. Off now to start on the comps ending 31st, why do I always leave them to the last minute?!

Just after Xmas I found out I won a hamper in the South African advent comp. You needed to have a South African address which I didn't have so I asked if they would please give it to a charity or childrens home in South Africa for me.

I have just had an email to say which Orphanage they had chosed:

Hi Dan,

Just a quick update on this – we’ve found a childrens home in Port Elizabeth – called Aids Haven. They look after 37 aids orphans. It has taken us a little while to get the ages and names of the children, but we finally received it.
We are busy buying gifts (toys) for each child – each child will receive a gift nicely wrapped with their name.
This should all happen early next week but will keep you updated.

I am really please that they felt they didn't need to re-draw it and chose to do as I asked. I really hope the kids enjoy their presents.
