Hi to those still up!

Been trying to settle kids all night. Since they broke up from school today they've been really hyped up!

Snows still here (a week early!). I must be getting old cos i'm too cold to make snowmen or have a snowball fight! :rotfl:
My dad fell over earlier on the ice and hurt his elbow and hip. He said he was ok but I think it was painful for him.

Hope everyone else ok and all wrapped up cosy & warm.

DS got a raceway track & cars today from MOTD. (Gone away for xmas pressie!) :shhh:

Evening all, quick update re DH's Grandma she's in a very bad way at the moment she can't breathe for herself so is hooked up to oxygen mask & when she tries to eat she's choking a lot so they are going to put tube into stomach so she can eat through that. Really don't think she has long left with us sadly, please send your thoughts & prayers to my DH & his Mum especially who are both struggling at the moment watching her like this. Thank you so much for your constant support everyone xxxxx

On a slightly happier note, my 3 year old has got a card (blue as it's xmas not red like normal) left from Royal Mail on Wednesday saying we need to collect a RECORDED item from PO. It must be a comp win & despite me phoning/going to the office they can't find it - does anyone know of any childrens comp wins that arrived Wednesday which came via Recorded Delivery? Going to check with office again tomorrow but am curious as to what it is!

Hope your son gets something nice from his win. My sons win today was actually delivered by a man in a conservatory cleaner van! I thought he got the wrong address when I seen him coming to the door! Hopefully your win will arrive tomorrow.

Morning all.

PMS my thought are with you and your family it must be tuly awful to see some one you love in such a state. Hope the post office thing is something really good to help cheer your son up a little.

We still have the snow but didn't get any of what was threatened last night. It is very very icy outside as it has frozen and the wind is bitter but, the sun is shining so everything is sparkling! All Christmassy really.

Called Post Office again today they still can't find it They are open to 5.30 today so might call back later or try again Monday. It must be a win with it being her name on card but have no idea what it is!

DH going to see his Grandma this afternoon, she's in a really bad way now, just need to take it one day at a time.
