Honestly you need to ditch your wife... Why ar eyou sticking by her? SHe has put both of you in danger and it looks like her pride in her business and the image she gives to her relatives is more important to her than keeping her home and her relatiosnhip with you intact.

Why are you sticking by her? Can't you see she is using you to get away from it all? Has she offered to pay for her mistakes? Do you realise how badly she has affected your financial situation for the rest of your life? This is going to stick to your credit rating like super loctite unless you legally blame her and she goes to prison. 200k, 200 effing k for christ sake! Just to put things back in perspective: OH and I are struggling to buy a 150k house! How do you bl00dy end up with 200k in debt over a business and decide to go on?

I feel a lot of sympaqthy for you but blaming the lender wont serve you right in your case. Find the broker, turn your wife in, get the case sorted and erased from your financial history, sell the house and start afresh!

Why not issue a county court judgement against him personally through the local court. If you win the court may be able to put a charge over his own home if he refuses to pay.
