Hi
I have checked the indexed thread and dont seem to be able to find anything on Canapes.
With friends coming over soon I would love to be able to make some nibbles that are tasty and easy to make.
Look forward to your ideas

Hi kazmeister,
I think the best way to ensure you enjoy the party too is to keep it simple and prepare as much as you can in advance. I like to make mini crostini with cream cheese and ham or pate, brushcetta with oven roasted tomatoes and basil, small slices of wheaten bread with smoked salmon, dips with fresh sliced veg sticks or crisps, cocktail sausages wrapped in ham, cheese straws etc. Using fresh herbs to decorate always makes the canapes look more appetizing.
There are lots of good ideas on these earlier threads that may help:

Did Mrs Micawber's breadsticks for dips for a party and they were lovely. Did a mix, some with poppy seeds, some with rock salt, some with herbs. pennies to make and gorgeous. I think I shall do some at Christmas when there is plenty of child labour here."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"
