Lloyds TSB Graduate Loan

I recently applied for a £5k graduate loan with Lloyds TSB, I do bank with them, have done for 18 months or so, ran my gold account and graduate acc perfectly, depositing nearly £2800 a month into my current account, as told by the PBA i never go fully upto my overdraft and have never bounced anything or incurred a charge.
the loan was well within my affordability and would free up alot of cash each month by combining some smaller debts and leaving me money left over to buy a second car for our household which is now needed.
Im married, 25, been with my employer for 3 years (worked p/t through uni to with them) and have a basic salary of £23k plus 25% OTB which has no cap and ive never not hit it in full.
anywho, they agreed i had great affordability and it was a sensible loan, but the personal lending team upon checking my credit report declined me as two catalogues were in arrears.
now these arent in arrears, and as such ive complained to shop direct group who sent me a woolley letter saying my accounts were upto date but this wasnt upto date with the CRA.s. Not as strongly worded as they put it on the phone, they state theyve sent a correction notice through to Equifax so they remove the payment markers as incorrect yet werent prepared to put this in writing for me. No doubt to protect any liability they may have.
however i have written an appeal letter to the lending team, which i have submitted with the letter they sent and a statement from each catalogue showing the accounts are upto date, ive also referred them to the fact i pay these by direct debit from my gold account so they can clearly check they are upto date.
anyway, the PBA said he was impressed with the letter and evidence, and basically they dont do appeals unless they really think they have a chance of getting it overturned as it means him and the manager have to write a long report together to submit to the lending team, ive been told i should have a decision on Thursday.
I just wondered if anyone else had any experience with this sort of situation? Loan appeals and particularly Lloyds.
thanks everyone i will keep you posted. :T

Take the letters back to the bank - showing that you are not in arrears.
Complain to the catalogue people about the damage done to your credit rating.0 -

hiya!
well lending team came back today stating they want to see the incorrect info drop off of my file in 28 days before lending. Which the bank advisor said was really picky and just stupid when ive provided proof to the contrary.
SO the manager of the bank has referred it to the Area Director who will deal with it on friday
has anyone any experience of this sort of happening?DFW - Debt Free Date July 2013, LBM Oct 2011
