Endowment mis-selling - Ombudsman

It obviously now appears to have been a total waste of 4 years, taking our complaint to the Ombudsman. After the initial finding of the adjudicator who upheld our complaint obviously using the paper evidence as part of her case, we were given false hope and stuck it out. Now are initial shortfall of £16,000 has risen to £22,000 (bsed on worst rate).
Maybe I should take this to the press and TV so others do not fall fowl of this situation.
I will just quote the following taken from a leaflet headed 'What happens
next'
'The Ombudsman is unlikely to change the adjudication unless the new evidence or arguments reveal something significant enough to cause the ombudsman to reach a different conclusion.'
Surely the ombudsman should have made us aware of this in his provisional decision report?0
