Hi there,
Im Bipolar looking to go BR in January when Ive raised the fees.
My doctor is helping me with the forms as are the CAB, but im spiralling head-long into an episode and I don't know quite what to do to calm down. Im hearing voices and imagining allsorts. I know my illness of old and I also know it is quite normal to be stressed, but I can't take much more.
Anybody here been though this with a mental health problem? I don't think I can do this on my own...
Thank you for your time.

Welcome to the forum, firstly you are not alone, the good folk on here will help you all they can. I too am struggling and I am off to see the Dr on Thursday, if I had not found this site I dread to think what I would have done. Ask as many questions as you like, you will always find that there is someone willing to help and advise you.:pB&SC No. 298

Thanks Dane-katie, it means a great deal to see that im not alone. 3 months since diagnosis, hope you are coping with it? 11 years for me now, you'd think I'b be used to it!?
Im shovelling the antipsychotics like smarties at the mo, but they are having little effect. Dont want to go to docs as dont want to be put in the bin.
Thanks for the support0 -

You're definitely not alone. I got into debt because of a breakdown. I got no help from anyone at the time and that includes family, friends, GPs and therapists. But the CC companies sure went out of their way to assist me.

I hope you're getting sound advice and seeing everyone you need to. It must seem all too much, but hang in there - there's an end date!BR 22/10/2009 ED 08/07/20100
