I've used both lastminute.com and ebay to buy from specsonline. This company has always delivered the goods quickly and if your lucky some great bargains to be had. I've had a pair from them for 60pence (+P&P)

Go to a store sunglasshut, house of fraser etc, try some on, when you find the pair you want, make a note of the brand number on the inside of the arm. Go home punch it into google/froogle/ etc etc along with the name to give you a dealer or simply use ebay. Make sure with ebay you ask what the serial/brand number is from the seller. If they say it is on the arms then it will be likely to be non counterfeit. Most manufacturers now engrave a serial number at the very top of the lens, check this also. Check out what boxes are supplied from retailers this will help fish out any dodgey sellers on ebay if they are not up to date with current packaging, especially if from a recent range.
Use international ebay services, from the states especially, as they are normally very very cheap and some sellers will gladly mark as a $15 gift etc to avoid tax or at least reduce the $price so that fees are kept to a bare minimum. I bought a pair of Prada SPR60e for approx £90 from the states, they sell for £165 over here at most places.
