Dissolvable labels

Have found some on this website and though they work out at 3.32p per label the p & p is £4.99:eek:. Has anyone seen these in any high street shops? They will be great for HM preserves. I'm using inkjet labels at the moment and they are a b****r to get off. TIA.

  • I use inkjet labels and find that if you get to them the INSTANT they come out of the dishwasher ( when they are still hot and damp) they come off quite easily. Now the glue is a whole new ball-game.....................
  • Lakeland do preserve labels and although they aren't dissolvable they do come off easily enough.

    Hi powershopper,

Just spray the residual glue with WD40 and it should rub off easily.

I use nail polish remover for stubborn labels then chuck them in the dishwasher to get rid of the nasty smell and the polish remover
