The CCCS are "charity" debt solutions company paid for in the most part by your creditors so you don't have to pay them.

They will advise you on what solutions suit your particular debt situation and help to agree it with your creditors. For the most part they run Debt Management Plans which is generally what your creditors will send you to them for...

However, in this instance, it doesn't sound like Halifax is sending you to the CCCS for a debt solution... they just want you to use the Income and Expenditure template and guidelines to draw up some form of a picture of your household finances and then send it just to them! (which is a bit weird but i suppose there's no harm in it!? Is that really what they're asking or am i getting the wrong end of the stick?)

I presume they want you to go through the Debt Remedy tool on the CCCS site.

As far as I remember that will produce a budget sheet of some sort during the process.
