I was once told that spots around the neck and jawline can be because we don't always rinse the soap/cleanser off that area well enough. I get spots on my chin from time to time but I think its because I have a habit of putting my chin in my hand when I'm reading or sat chatting, or sitting at a desk. I don't know if this is true though.0

I have heard that spots on your chin and around your mouth (which is what I always get) are related to hormones. Apparently mobile phones don't help either though - seeing as you've got to touch the keys to dial the number and then hold it up to your face and the keypad is fairly close to your mouth..."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0

Spots, especially those red lumpy ones on your jaw line or below and around the neck area are hormone related, a dab of freederm gel will reduce them really quickly without making them go flakey.Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

Thanks..Yeah they are the ones..is this due to anything imparticular bringing them on as it is rare but still they look awful?0 -

Hello!
Funny you posted this as I thought the same thing the other day when I had a patch of tiny 'spots' (not sure they were) on one cheek?! I never get them on my cheeks, so not sure what that was all about...luckily they've settled down now.
According to a few sites spots on cheeks is caused by stress or stomach problems
Forehead = digestion problems
Between eyebrows o.0 = too much sugary or greasy food
Chin, nose, chest or back = hormones
Who knows what is true though, I know I tend to get them round my jaw more than anywhere else, so i'm blaming hormones
I have to say, I tried Freederm before and it didn't do a lot, but that cream I got before is brilliant (PanOxyl/Aquagel), I just have to remember to carry on using it even when I don't seem to have any spots (haha, I wish). But I think it really has helped. I'm glad I carried on with it despite it feeling like my face was shrinking when I initially started using it, not to mention the flaking...i'm really selling it aren't I!I don't seem to get the painful spots I used to get all the time.
(...did I mention the cream I use bleaches dyed fabric and i'm scared of sleeping in my new bedding now...i'll still use it though!)

i tend to get just the odd few around my chin and nose now but over the past month have started to get them on one cheek. Have never had them on my cheeks before and think its weird. Its the cheek i sleep on too but have been changing the pillowcases now every few days0

lol..read this through and got near the end and thought this sounds like my sisters kind of post..it was you!! Doh
I as you know dont get loads..my skins quite clear but just not great and i don't know why they suddenly appear..i know you used the cream and i think i may get some just for poss once a week or so to try and keep them at bay!! thing is now they are going that will be it for ages until i see more (thank god!)..maybe it is stress and my fridge..(ill put that in my letter 'I demand face cream for my inconvienience' lol!)
And as for the bedding i know what you mean but use a towel if need be it will stop the colour ruining at least..freakyogre wrote: »Hello!
