abbey £9k
blackhorse £4k
all around 8% apr.
feels like a chain around our necks wish they would all just go away, have got 4ys left of paying them off, £750 per month we pay for them so we've never got two pennys to rub together!
any advice?

As the others have said, post a SOA and perhaps we can help you a bit more. To be honest 8% isnt too bad & it could be more, but definately understand what you mean about a weight around your neck...
Are there penalties for overpayment on the loans?

An SOA (or Statement of Affairs) is basically all of your income and expenditure broken down. You should list all your monthly outgoings, your loan, cc debts etc and their APRs. Southern Scousers sticky tells you how to go about doing one.
