Not sure if this is the correct section, so please move if it isn't.
I'm looking for info on Foreign currency rates.
I'm going to buy some Euro's, and have been buying them at M&S for around £1= 1.40 Euro.
I was wondering there there is a website that can show what the rates have been in the past, so i can tell if it's low now, but will increase at certain times of the year etc...
Anyone any idea ?.

Most stockmarket trackers will give currencies for example:

Of cause this is market value rather than travel money but there is a close relationship between the twoAll posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

And don't try predicting future rates. You cannot win playing currency exchange games with professionals.
P.S. Also try to get Nationwide card(s) and forget about buying foreign currency forever: Spending Overseas: Cut the cost by over 6%0 -
Thanks, all very helpful.
I'm not trying to play the market really, it'd just annoy me if i bought £1,000 worth of euro's today @ 1.40 and tomorrow it goes upto 1.46-1.50 , but thats life i guess.
thanks all. Smile, you only get one life, LIVE IT.0 -
Have a look at my post here about where the best places are to buy currency:http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=201733In terms of tracking you can use Oanado, which is quite good."An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0

If you use this, you'll find the £ under B for British!
(Don't you just hate trying UK, GB and even England before you can find what you're looking for?)
