Iv always just thrown things together! never had a cookery lesson as such but I was cooking with my mom from age 11, left home able to cook the food i liked to eat.. Id start with google something like 'simple recepies for chicken' or check out second hand shops for cook books.. ideal present if anyone asks what you want for crimbo?
I love to bake to and have a great little bero cook book think it cost me £1!0 -
I've always found this place great http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/
I now have a menu that goes beyond baked beans on toast:j
It has a great way of making your own recipie book too, which you can easily print out.
Also have a look at the money saving old style board for some great and cheap ideas. The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter0 -
Hi Everyone ....I`m a sad little bunny tonight as my car broke down today:sad::sad:(again!!)...after standing around for an hour it`s nearly fixed ( well it got me home anyway) but I`m soooo freezing cold now!!
Wish I had a nice sunday dinner to warm me up! brrrrr0 -
I've got my grandma's bero cookbook, it's ancient and in imperial measurements but it's so cool, I wish I could get an upto date one. I've just started using goodfood website too, was thinking of getting the magazine but the website is free. What can I say, i'm keen but so clueless!
In my shopping I got mulled wine and mincepie ingredients (got father in law coming to visit for a few days on Wednesday) trying to be a proper host - it's so not gonna happen!!
Sorry to hear about your car SSA. Not the best of weekends for you hun eh. You don't need a sunday dinner, just a warm bubble bath and sitting here in your dressing gown with a horlicks, snug!0 -
