    I agree with Bat ....those early years pass that quickly & suddenly before you know it you will wake up & the kids are off doing their own thing ( as they should be of course).

    It is a strange feeling ...this is my first year without my kids here for Christmas & it feels quite lonely actually :sad:

    I have to agree with you bat. Those Christmases when the kids are young are just magical!! I felt this was the first Christmas my children are proper adults now (17 & 18) and we spent it just the 4 of us and it was perfect!
