    hopefully 4k ..... fingers crossed x very tightly !

I was going to use the money to pay off the debts, but was then thinking if I do that now I might get tempted to take out more debts later to get the heating sorted in the house. And I'm not going to get another chance for a lump sum like this. The heatings a big issue at the moment, with this giant electric bill...its okay in the summer we have no heaters at all in the house from April to October - its just those winter months...we try and get by with the coal fire but even that costs loads and doesnt reach upstairs. A couple nights when it was really cold last winter we put the sofa bed up in the lounge and all 5 of us slept in there. We have one storage heater in the hallway but its rubbish, so we have to use 2kw electric heaters so obviously this is where the electric bill has come from. If we get windows our use of the heaters will go down....
