Overdraft letter

Hey, I have been overdrawn for the past month or so without really realising. I received a letter today from rbs saying that they have noticed that there have been no credits to my account and I have to phone them within 14 days.

I have now made a credit to my account though so will I still need to phone them or will it be cool?

Sorry not had much experience with this

  • Did the credit clear the overdraft? If not, I'd still ring them.

No it didnt. But it did not say it wanted it to be paid off just about how when you are making use of your overdraft facility you must still continue to make credits to the account... I am going to clear it on Friday though when I get paid!
  • Give them a call anyway and explain that. It's good to talk.
