Goals for the month

Thought I'd start this to keep me motivated, as there are lots of things I need to do that I'm procrastinating about, but I won't get done in a week. So, 2 different types of goal - MSE goals & me (peace of mind etc) goals.

MSE
1. House insurance - phone back company we're with telling them how much cheapest quote elsewhere is (ahem, maybe minus £5;) ).
2. Do tax return on line (they owe ME money :j :j :j )

3. Linked to below, list shoes etc. on ebay.

4. Keep going with quidco, am on £44.19 at the mo, aiming for £50.

5. Check out amazon etc. to see if any of my books look like they'd sell. If so, list them!

6. Stick to budget for month (runs to 25th) - £150, £45.42 left, is actually doable if don't eat.... am expecting to go over but will be accounting for every p. Plan & stick to it!!!

7. Scour every paper, magazine & junk mailing for coupons (£5 worth accumulated in last 4 days, higher than usual, will aim for another £5) - then remember to use them at Tesco!

8. Shop at Tesco's for R & R, and stick to list.

9. Source cheapest new gas oven (Focus £299 to beat at the mo as I get 10% off) & get it fitted.

10. Running out of ideas.... suggestions anyone? Just remembered - open betfair or corals account, only if can get free bet as well as quidco, am not including quidco money in above.

Me
1. Sort out shoes, jewellery etc and post unwanted on ebay.

2. Exercise bike twice a day

3. No alcohol    , stick to diet (linked to budget!!!!), lose 6lbs by 26th.

4. Decorate! Lots! (Paint etc already bought)

5. Do 'girlie' stuff (dye hair, wax etc.)

Will update [strike]if[/strike] when achived!:rotfl:

I have one goal this month, to hit the £3,000 paid off target. Hopefully beat it as I'm a bit worried that christmas will set my targets back a bit.

You wanna try get in front of your target so if you overspend at Christmas, it wont be affected. Hope that makes sense??

I have several goals this month too, I have an extra payday so I've been juggling what to do with the money at first I was going to clear a debt off completely as it's only a small one but then I thought well no as I work hard all the time and see no real reward except seeing the figures reduced, but I like my material side and when I spend money I like to see in front of me what I've bought, is that clear to you lot? So I decided to set the money aside for me to treat myself I'm going to by some excercise stuff as am 30 in July and thought I should now push for a healthy activity to co-operate with my OH healthy eating programme we're now on. It's also my OH birthday a week after mine so I have to treat her to somethink nice. I should still have some money left over to reduce some minor debts, like CC or my Dell computor.
