It won't be unlocked. The only way to put another SIM in a branded phone is to pay to have it unlocked, unless you're buying specifically on O2 from Carphone Warehouse, where they are unlocked on that network.

I have been on 02 for a very long time, with a new phone every year at least, and not one of them has ever been simlocked.
So it may or may not be, maybe someone who purchases it could try it and confirm.

The OP just used the wrong choice of words, PF4501K is not a "code" its a catalogue number to find the item

You may be right but this is a PAYG phone I think and they are usually locked to O2 apparently.

Perhaps I should have explained "branded". Nearly all pay and go phones are locked to their specific network, who, in turn, can disable some of the features on the phone, or add extra content you can't delete. That's branding.
