Lloyds Caravan loans

Hi I need some advice please,
We bought a touring caravan couple of years ago and we upgrade it this year. So have only had it for about 10 month we have been paying all of the monthly payments until I became to ill to work. Now we are in arrears of 3 months and our debts have been rising. We thought it would be better to sell our caravan privately, if we went through a caravan sales agent we would only get between £5000 - £6000 for it.
So we advertised it privately and have managed to sell it for £7,500. However when we have informed our Leander we owe £10,121.97 so there is a shortfall of £2,920 which we cannot pay up front and because they said they are losing all of the interest the new repayment figure will now be £6,000 instead of £2,920 we cannot afford to pay this amount so they have told us not to worry as they will turn this amount into. Loan what we can do please.
