Should i lie??

I owe £30,000 on credit cards and going to remorgage to pay of this debt... I was wondering should i tell the morgage company the reason for the money or lie and say its for home improvements? Will the debt show up in credit check if i dont tell them ? Would the company lend money to pay off credit cards or is it frown upon? Many thanks

They can see everything you owe and your current accounts, so it will show up in the searches.

Get a whole of market mortgage broker, tell him what you want to do, he will find you the best deal available that will do what you want with a company happy to move your CC debt onto your house.

Just don't run them up again afterwards ....
