mushroom, cream, dill and pasta.
I love this kind of pasta in restuarants, and so I have all the above ingredients but not really sure how best to cook/throw together.;)
I was thinking, cook some onions and garlic together then in another pan, gently cook the salmon then add mushrooms to the other pan, and then add cream salmon and dill, and let it simmer til it thickens add to cooked pasta?
Will the cream thicken like that?
Any other suggestions would be great, or amendments if you think my recipe wont work.
Thx tf x:D

I think that sounds fine
I'm not sure how thick the sauce is supposed to be but cream will thicken a little in the pan.
Alternatively you could sprinkle a little plain flour into the onions and garlic (assuming you are going to cook them with some butter or oil), this will make a paste to which you can add a little milk, stock, water or better still white wine. Stir as it cooks and it should thicken. Add your mushrooms, salmon and cream.0 -

Hi
I made that very dish using a really easy recipie from the 'philadelphia' cream cheese website. Basically a couple of desert spoons of cream cheese with dill, a little milk to loosen the sauce, throw in some cooked pasta and chopped smoked salmon or mushrooms and ham perhaps, and serve. Delicious and quick!
