Energy Usage

My usage of gas and electricity seems to be increasing and I can't really work out why. I have no additional appliances or machines. Does anyone know of a site or a tool that tells you how much energy your stuff uses? That way I might be able to identify why my usage is steadily increasing year on year, and maybe do something about it.
Thanks

We got one of those Owl electricity monitors and it was a real eye opener. It is unbelievable how much energy an electric shower and tumber drier use. We have since moved to a new house and got a mixer shower instead of an electric shower. We have also changed to economy 7 rate electricity and have a timer on our dishwasher and washing machine and run them overnight. We have also started drying most of our clothes on a close horse in the airing cupboard, instead of using the tumble drier all the time.0
