Water Bill and Moonbeever help needed!

Hello,

Long time lurker and taker of all advice given :money: I was made bankrupt in August 09.

I've tried reading but am completely confused about paying my water bill. Do I still pay them? I was not in arrears and they were not included in my bankruptcy debts and I pay by Direct Debit. I am struggling as I have had a major car problem this month.

And that leads me on to my next question, this month I have been put on a Nil Tax code, I have sent all my information to Moonbeever and am waiting for them to let me know how much to pay, but as my car has decided that it no longer likes the clutch it has, so it needs a new one. I desperately need my car and was wondering what will happen if I spend my tax money and haven't saved it all by the time Moonbeever get back to me, could it affect my bankruptcy?

Thank you

You should just carry on paying the water co. as normal.

As for the Nil Tax money, ideally you should save it to pay MB when they contact you. But it has been known for a few on here to spend it before MB have contacted them, especially if like you they have an emergancy. MB have usually accepted a payment plan to repay the money. Try and keep how much you spend to a minimum and get reciepts.

And no it shouldn't affect your BR.
