Mamite Poll & Marmite shop blog discussion - love it or hate it

Hello bloggies,
Marmite is but a trade name for the product which is know as yeast extract. Personally I prefer the supermarket own brands, which are marketed on the label as 'yeast extract', on account of them being less salty tasting and not as smooth as Marmite. I have it on toast, in sandwiches with fresh parsley, spinach, watercress or tomato, I also make gravy out of it.:j:rolleyes::rolleyes::p0 -
Hate itHate it.
The end. When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0 -

Ooh, I love it, as does DD........DS and OH both fall into the "hate-it" category, but will happily munch on twiglets :rolleyes:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. IndifferentI remember the first time I tried Marmite when I was at uni. No one told me that you don't spread it as thickly as jam. {shudder}0
