loan insurance ?

hi I have a loan with loyds tsb and at the time of settng it up I was sold insurance on this loan worth £789 ! i was only working part time at that time and 2 months after taking loan out i was made unemloyed ! I then tried to cancel the insurance but was told I couldn't end of ! so nearly 4 yrs later I'm paying insurance that is no use to me , does any 1 know if I am intitled to this money back ?? thanks x

    If you weren't able to claim on the insurance and this exclusion wasn't clearly pointed out, then you would seem to have a strong miselling case.

    Have a look on the 'reclaim £1,000s' tab at the top of the page and download the template letters you need to get the ball rolling.
