We got this fire in January and you only need it on for about 15 minutes b4 havin to turn it off! Talk about fuel efficient! Bakes you well quick!

word of warning with flueless gas fires are not recommended because of safety fears .. if you do get one make certain you have regular safety checks. the gas fire of course .. not you personally

As I understand it flumeless fires are not suitable as primary heating.

They're designed to be put on every now and then for the glow and a bit of radiated heat as a treat.

IIRC you also need an air vent somewhere in the room, my parents have a gas fire without a flu and they have a vent in the window
