    I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but:

    HMV 20% Off -Time Specific Offer

    The 20% discount offer is only valid on Thursday 8th June 2006.
    The 20% discount offer cannot be used with any other promotion, coupon or discount.
    The 20% discount offer can only be used at time of purchase and cannot be used retrospectively.
    Exclusions: The 20% discount offer is not valid against purchases of electronic gift cards, gift vouchers, e-gift certificates, event tickets, online digital downloads, nor against cost of any postage/packing and/or gift wrapping charges where applicable. The 20% discount offer cannot be used to purchase Electronics eg Apple hardware, games consoles, games bundles or any other electronic hardware (e.g. digital music players)
    The 20% discount offer is not transferable/assignable.
    Normal HMV.co.uk terms of purchase and the HMV Standard Returns Policy applies. See online at https://www.hmv.co.uk for details.

    Oh that's pants! I was so looking forward to being able to buy his the xbox 360 on Thurs. I will have to see where else i can get it as cheap as possible (whilst avoiding ebay)

    Thanks for this, just placed my order and saved £15. I made sure I checked all the prices against Amazon first though, as HMV have a tendency to be a little on the expensive side with some of their items.

    I just put down the XBox 360 wireless controller....and it indicates 20% off: will they change it?

    They cant legally change the price without informing you first, so you cant lose! :)

  • I don't really see what the bad news is? No retailer in their right mind would give 20% off gift vouchers.

    Thanks mate :) - I've ordered...lets see what they can do :D

    It was registered as a "game" so hopefully the system will recognize it as a game :D. It came down to £26.50 or something. I used Quidco too :D - so close to around £25 :D
