What makes you think it needs relining? If its coming nto the roof round the chmney it'll be the flashing. But the wind / rain yesterday have probably conspired to drive the water in through the smallest hole. If its a one off then its possibly an extraordinary event so if it were me I'd just monitor it and leave well alone meantime.
Of and if you want to have it reflashed £ 250 - £300 I guess.

What kind of fire is it that you are using, Solid fuel or gas? If you go on the NACS website then there a contact numbers for chimney sweeps all over the country. They would probably be able to give you a more accurate idea of what you need to sort out your chimney, and what the cost would be. http://www.chimneyworks.co.uk/ PS i am not a sweep!0
