Equifax or Experian - which report do I get?

You have to write to them or phone them. You can try to contact them via email like I did, I got it done this way as I work differant shifts, some times night ones which meant that during the day I'd be a sleep while Equifax was open so couldn't call them. Bear in mind that a report from https://www.annualcreditreport.co.uk includes neither previous searches nor credit account information from Experian.
By the way, Experian's free CreditExpert trial is not a loophole - it's a free trial!
