Concealer "should" come out aok, it's lipstick you have to panic about.

    Good luck.

Wipe a fresh stain to clear the surface deposit and, where possible, soak for 5 minutes in a weak ammonia solution (5ml household ammonia to 500ml warm water). After that rinse well and wash at the highest temperature suited to the fabric. Always read your garment label carefully first.

Do you have any OxyClean (or similar)? It's a kind of white powdery/granule type stuff in a fairly big round tub.

I mix a scoop up with a little water and pour it on straight on the stain as soon as I can then leave it to dry like a crust over it and it kind of soaks up all the bad stuff! Then whack it into the washing machine (with the crusty powder still on top) and usually - fingers crossed- the stain has gone when you take it back out again.

It's absolutely fantastic for stuff like that. I split a whole glass of red wine over my cream sofa and it got it all out with no trace. It also got lipstick out of a white jumper of mine.

Hope you get it out babe. Failing that, get some dye and make the red shirt instead???

Pleased to hear you got it out Helen - you must be well pleased!!
I often have to tackle lipstick/mascara and foundation on white towels as I'm 'an independen tconsultant' with The body shop at home. I've found their camomile eye makeup remover unbeatable for this. The liquid is like water so easy to use with no residue. I'd imagine any makeup remover of the same sort of constituency would be as good.
I just put a few drops on the stain and throw in the W/M. One wash (ususally 40 gentle) and it's gone.
No good to you now I know Helen, but if someone does a search in future it might just help them out ;-)

You should hang it outside in the sun as it bleaches it while drying and will make sure it ia all out
