question about lx direct code?

Hi,
I used a code the other day and had an email to say my order was £6.49 instead of £17.99 but I have just received my order and it say's the full price on the advice note is this normal? I can't seem to log onto the site either to check my account.
Thanks for any help
Jen

Check your credit card statement, normally they charge your card full price and then refund the ammount of the voucher.

What you'll find is, that even the statement sometimes doesnt show the discount, and its a matter of phoning and insisting the code be put on manually.
But you have to have the code you used at hand, as they will ask for it.
P.s remember to use the free phone number 0800 123131
    Good luck!!

I have never had any of the codes I have used added to my statement. I always have to telephone them and ask them to deduct it but if you don't have the code you used they won't do it. The guy on the phone told me the system rarely picks up internet codes and you have to call them once you have received your statement and they will make an adjustment. Its a pain in the neck really because the system lets you take it off on-line. I think they are just hoping people forget or don't notice. HTH

I've been fairly lucky in getting money off (until one order recently). However the discounts aren't shown on the delivery note but I do see them on the 'My Account' section on the website. I normally order with my credit card - they charge full amount then credit back any discounts. Do you pay by credit/debit card or do you have an account?

Don't they ask where you obtained the codes from?
