How about High Tea at one of the smart hotels? Scones, champagne, tea etc. The Dorchester is very good. Not as expensive as a smart dinner out and a bit "different" too.
The ice rinks are great too - there are now loads of them, Somerset House, Kew Gardens, etc etc.
Or if he's into outdoorsy stuff... a trip to Richmond Park or Hampstead Heath is always good (if the weather's decent).0 -
Something thought out and personal to him would be best. I've managed to find a way to full fill one of my DH's biggest ambitions, and for £100 it seems a great idea as a treat for our first wedding anniversary (he hasn't got a special birthday for a while) I'll plan a hotel and a nice meal to go with it I think.
She knows him best, what are his hobbies, his favourite bands, comedians, shows, etc. What about a track day or a hot air balloon or something?0 -
I'd like to see Dirty Dancing - or go to an Opera or classical music concert. Something that you can't do in the middle of the country!0
