Hi
Just a quickie if anyone knows....
Made bankrupt on 17th September 09. Property is sold and about to exchange contracts( mortgage shortfall included in BR)
Got a letter off OR saying my file has been passed to RTLU?
Seems quick-what happens now?
Thanks in advance

That means the OR has finished any investigations into your case. You may receive early discharge papers to fill in and send back but that won't guarantee early discharge.

Thank you for that, I had a look at some past threads on it and saw most people were around 6 months in whenthis happened...felt special for a minute there lol
Don't mind if I get ED or not, but nice to know the OR is satisfied with my affairs.
Many Thanks0 -
Sorry...another quickie....does this mean the report has been sent to my creditors then?0

Do you mean notifying your creditors that you are bankrupt?

Sort of-I meant the report that has to be presented to them before discharge? Or the meeting....now I am confusing myself!0

Yes the report to creditors and notice of no meeting should be sent by the 8 week mark and will have been sent if you are going to RTLU. When the OR has finished dealing with assets there is a closing notice sent to all creditors and when ED comes around another notice is sent to all creditorsHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
