Not sure if this is exactly the right place for this but if any one can answer would appreciate it..... When I moved house 7 months ago I cancelled my contract with BT who said on the phone I would owe them money as there was still so many number of months to go I said fine as it would have cost me money to set BT up in…

I would ring up and ask, why is the account in credit.

If they say it was because your old account was incredit so they moved it across, in that case then nothing is owing from the previous account. There is no need to ask about the old account, just ask why the new one has this balance.
