Mortgage Free in 12 Months ???

I have set myself the goal of saving £48k in 12 months although I have sort of started now and have £2k in the bank. This means that I will have to find around £4k per month which I know is impossible.
How can I do this?
I am always reading the income forum etc but if anyone has any ideas to help me that would be fab.

Well the good news is that you have £2k in the bank so you only need £46k
now do you earn after tax and national insurance about £4k a month ?
Are you living at home with mum and dad rent free ?
Perhaps saving a little less might be a better target !0 -
the £4k per month is what I need to save/find after everything is paid. I actually want to put all saved money into an account to pay the mortgage in one lump sum - well thats what i have in my mind. I know its a high amount and I am 100% sure I can't do it be hey, its a challenge.Lucylema x :j0
