Mortgage just passed 3yr fixed term last month

I have been looking for another mortgage deal since my current 3 yr fixed term @ 4.94% was due to expire at the end of Oct 09. I have called a number of banks for a newer 'deal' but have had no luck on keeping costs down.
I have now moved onto a variable rate of 4.99%. Could somebody advise of a mortgage broker I could contact in the West midlands for further advice? I would like to move to a fixed term deal again preferably to know my outgoings per month.
(new to this whole seen so being cautious....)

Hi fino
I'm not sure the rules allow advertising. This might help.
If you post your basic requirements, LTV, income, loan amount etc., I'm sure people will suggest deals that are available at the moment.
How long do you want to fix for? Short terms such as two or three years seem pointless to me because you'll be fixing when rates are least likely to move. Fixing for longer may bring rewards but are likely to be more expensive.
A variable rate of 4.99% is pretty good although you may be able to trim it slightly. Watch out for set-up fees and exit penalties.
