Standard Life Demutualisation

I purchased my house 10 years ago with an endowment mortgage from Standard Life for £28500. I realise I should try to get out of this as soon as possible but they are demutualising shortly and I would be entitled to shares if this is the case. I don't want to change my endowment if this means I lose out on the shares. Could you give me any advice on what I should do?
Thank you

Don't do anything until you get your shares and then come back here and ask again.Trying to keep it simple...

Thank you. It's good to know I can talk to an expert. It's a weight off!
