    I cannot recommend this set highly enough. I have been buying them at almost full price and have hugely enjoyed them.

    I'm absolutely gutted!!! the delivery to Northern Ireland is £5.25 and of course you don't get it free. Ridiculous. :O(

    Edit: Sorry about the over-reaction there! I've ordered, thanks very much OP!!

    Yeah I'm a bit miffed that we can't use the free delivery codes just cos we are in Northern Ireland.

    But stilll £8.99 for the 8 books is a steal, I paid £3.97 or something in tescos for the first one and to get each book after that they are about £4ish on the net.

    I agree, it's still cheaper with the delivery than it is anywhere else...I was just gutted to discover the charge right before checking out! lol I might have over-reacted there, being annoyed! But it's still really unfair to charge more for NI! thanks to OP though, well spotted! I've been after these for ages, and I'm addicted to the TV series. :o
  • is this one of those book club things? pretty sure it's not but just wanted to make sure there's no obligation to buy other books from them? Can never believe something that looks to good to be true!

    No book club or commitment. The Book People sell a lot of copies of a limited range of bestsellers at absolutely jawdropping prices. If you haven't come across them before, have a look at the rest of the site-you might sort out some more Christmas presents.

    (I'm not affiliated to them at all. But I've used them for years while people I've told have turned up their noses and said they don't do book clubs. Their loss!)
    import this
  • No the book people are not a club, no obligation. You do earn points on each purchase so that you can receive free books every so often by spending points, also if you buy 3 times a year (I think) you become a VIP and haev access to some books slightly before the rest of the site on the VIP section is the Lauren Luke book that I got for DD. (no I am not part of them, either!)

    I think they are part of Scholastic and have Red House, bananas and used to be School Link now called scholastic book club ( you know those leaflets kids bring home from school )

    As for too good to be true, lots of finds on MSE are such!
