Hi guys, did not enjoy being woken up by the milk monster at midnight, 1am, 1.30am, 2am, 2.15am, 2.30am, 2.45am, 2.50am, 2.55am and 3am. Finally dragged the pickle into bed with me at 3am and managed a couple of hours sleep.

Am cooking her a lamb casserole (with sweet potato and tomato) at the moment and I'm planning on cooking a lentil thing and a chicken in tomato sauce later on, but I need to buy some carrots, sweet potatoes and other bits and bobs.

It's cool here but not that dark. I think my neighbours are moving house as well, they're taking out a lot furniture and putting it in a small van which keeps driving off and then back a few minutes later... not that I'm a nosey neighbour, i just noticed these things:D

Long, rather cute, belted winter coat, sexiest jeans, knee high boots??

yes, with thermos under the jeans, and thermal top hidden by a cute jumper!

oh yeah and fluffly socks inside those boots!

what they can't see, won't hurt them.
  • blimey, that was a bit windy!!

Changed my euros back - got £48 and spent £17 on ingredients for class for Monday and Tuesday night. Then treated myself and bought 2 big bars of Galaxy Caramel, some vodka and some cranberry juice :D I thought - well, the euros would have just sat there otherwise -might as well make good use of them :rotfl: It felt very decadent buying a half decent bottle of vodka, haven't bought any for months and I usually buy the really cheap stuff.

Just need fresh cranberries and one of the big Tesco's has put a tub aside for me. Have asked OH if he is popping up there and it seems he might be (for a bulb!!!) and I've asked him to pick them up for me.

My goodness it's windy out there (I like to state the bleeding obvious :D) My small cat jumped up to the fence and got blown backwards instead....the look on his face as he slunk in the door was priceless :rotfl:He's now cosied up on his blanket with his nose tucked under his paw.

Had a much needed lie in this morning, my energy levels are very low at the moment...(don't think pushing 16 stone of husband around in a wheel chair is helping on that front) Had a good sort out of washing and got the kitchen gleaming (well all the bits that show anyway) and plan to sit infront of the fire for the rest of the afternoon.

An afternoon snuggled by the fire sounds lovely Pooky, a real fire is on my list of must haves once we clear the mortgage........

I have just been doing a bit of online Christmas shopping and bought a CD and DVD on pre-order from Tescos grabbing 1000 bonus clubcard points thats £40 in rewards to go towards our 2011 holiday (I am trying for a neutral holiday that year as next years hols are costing a fortune)

Does anyone know of any shops that sell those Slankets as being out every day makes it difficult for deliveries.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
  • Super hail storm in Essex this morning. Largest stones I've seen in the UK.
Interesting big "star" shapes, as the original stone had coagulated; freezing together with other smaller ones as it fell, to made the shape of a snowflake.

Lou - I recall reading (on someone's facebook) that Morrison's had them - though I haven't actually seen them in there

Its actually not that bad weather wise here - a little windy but it was sunny most of the morning. However I might just stay in all day in case it gets cold, any excuse for a lazy day!

Not windy here. Think I'm going to go comping for a bit, and look at the tesco clubcard offers, if there's a cd I want I might try the extra points thingy.
