Pension Schemes

Will the OR ask you to stop you paying into a company pension scheme during your B/R?

Thinking about it - will the OR stop you paying into any pension scheme during your B/R?

i think you can pay normal contributions but i don't think you can pay additional contributions. someone with more knowledge will be along soon!
  • Hi Script,
The OR didnt stop me paying into my company pension. Stil pay at full contributions too.
Me and OH also have various private and work pensions from the past and he was kind enough to leave them alone too. ;)

    Thanks confused.

And that was brilliant news pmg.

I guess I should say that no two OR's are alike - but isn't it great when you get a really good one.
  • Yes definately makes a difference. I only spoke to mine once at interview and that was it. He did seem very nice and understanding. Hope you get on ok with yours, i'm sure it will be fine ;)

Ooh that's well reminded, thank you! I don't know whether my OR took my pension or whether it's still mine for the taking when the time comes. Must check!!

I'm sure you will keep it providing it's not due to pay out during your B/R - so here's hoping you still get to pay into it.

    Hi confused,
All I did was painstakingly write all the policy numbers and approx values on the soa.a statement was never requested altho I had them all ready just in case:rolleyes:. I then was expecting a grilling at interview and really thought he would claim them but he just said to leave them be and that was it :D
