What happens with house evaluation

Does the OR ask you to provide recent evaluations or do they arrange for an independent one to be done?

I provided one estate agent's valuation and a mortgage redemption statement for mine and that was enough. Others are different, but that's all mine wanted to see.

Don't ignore a problem. Unlike a bad smell, it won't eventually go away.
  • Some OR's may just ask for an estate agents valueation, some want 3. Some just do a drive by themselves and decide what it is worth.

Each OR is different and until you get there you won't know.

I had to provide 3 estate agents' valuations (or surveyor's valuation) and mortgage redemption statement.
