M&S Party Food Half Price until next week (most can be frozen)

Was in M&S today and saw that their chilled party food (some lovely items like breaded king prawns, vegetable pancake rolls and smoked salmon bagels) are on half price until around 18th November. However, most can be frozen and so worth getting now and freezing for Christmas. :beer:

I got the party pack that includes 5 diff things, sausage rolls, scotch eggs etc. Think it was about £2 for 50 items! Well worth it! My son loves those kind of things for his tea!! Didnt realise could freeze them, I might go get a few more packs!

Youy do need to check before you buy for the freezer. Not everything in the party food range can be frozen so you need to check the packaging. I didn't get those 50 items set myself so am not certain if that particular pack is one of the ones you can freeze. If it is it will have the little frost/snowflake symbol on the front and give instructions on the back about defrosting thoroughly before using. Certainly the smoked salmon bagels, cheese and garlic bites, pancake rolls and several other things can be frozen according to the packaging.

Thanks OP, I was in M&S today but couldn't get to the counter with this stuff for the crowds of people! May try and pick some up next week. Great spot.

Most of the food I looked at today can only be frozen for one month..a bit of a probelm if you want it for Christmas. As the advert suggests that you can buy now for Christmas, it's not quite correct!
