Hope this is in the right place!! I've found half of a small ham/gammon joint in the back of the freezer. I cooked the first half for sandwiches but it wasn't the best so the rest has been lingering in the freezer ever since!! CAn anyone suggest any recipes I can use it up in?

I cooked a piece of ham last night, what I have left over I was thinking of putting into a ham and leek pie in a nice creamy sauce. I guess if you bung it with other stuff it might taste a little better?
How did you cook it first time round? I bring mine to the boil in a saucepan (with cold water) to help get rid of the saltiness and then cooked it in the SC for about 12 hours - it's delish

I boiled it then baked it just for a few mins as I don't like it too moist. I always do it like this and its usually fine.0
